Electric vehicles (EV’s) are rapidly replacing internal combustion engines (ICE/gas) and even hybrids. This subject is covered on pages 39 and 43 in my Solar in San Diego book. If you are considering buying or leasing any of these three types of vehicles your best bet is to buy the book titled “Electric Cars for dummies” by Brian Culp. I have 6 books about EV’s, four of which are about converting your own car to EV and two are about buying or leasing an EV one of which is Brian Culp’s book that was published in September of 2022 so it’s completely up to date in this very fast moving industry.

Brian Culp’s book is so thorough and easy to read, I could not begin to write anything about the subject as well as he has done. He takes a subject which to some people would be boring and makes it fun to read with a lot of humor throughout this wonderful book.
